Duration: 1 day

IT10-D: El Valle de Anton, at 1,900 feet above sea level, is the crater of an extinct volcano with its slopes covered by tropical rainforest and crossed by rivers with impressive waterfalls. The most famous is called "Chorro El Macho"; to see it you will enjoy a short hike through a dense tropical rainforest, appreciating the dense vegetation, numerous bird and  animal species. The most famous mountain is called "la India Dormida" (the Sleeping Indian Girl), that has inspired writers to immortalize a legend from the colonial period. We will visit the zoo and botanical garden of El Nispero, where we will appreciate several endemic and endangered species, like the Golden Frog and multicolored macaws; and the museum El Valle, which exhibits Pre-Colonial art and colonial antiques of the area. We will see the square trees and the petroglyphs, anthropomorphous images and symbols that have not been deciphered yet by archeologists. Finally, we will visit the crafts market, where you can buy anything from wild orchids to figures carved in soapstone. Arrival to Panama City is estimated at 7:00 p.m.

Canopy Adventure: offers the tourist the opportunity to ascend to the canopy of the trees and observe the forest from a different perspective. You will glide from platform to platform (4 in total) through cables, with the assistance of expert guides. You will hike through an interpretative trail.

Includes: Ground transportation, lunch, snacks and soft drinks, specialized guide, entrance  fee to the zoo, botanical garden, and museum; rainforest hike, informational literature. IT10-CA: same as previous description plus Canopy Adventure.
