Our adventure begins at 7:00 a.m. at Gamboa Pier, to cruise along Gatun Lake to Barro Colorado Island, which has been administered by the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute since 1946. Here, we will hike along an interpretative trail through the tropical rain forest, to observe a large amount of animal and plant species. Then we will visit the historical Visitors Center that hosts the exhibition "The Forest Talks". Here, you can buy souvenirs, T-shirts or books at the Ecological Mini-Bookstore. After lunch we will begin our return journey. Arrival in Gamboa Pier is estimated at 3:00 p.m.

Includes: Boat trip along Gatun Lake, lunch, specialized guide, rainforest hike, Visitors Center.

Optional: Transfer hotel-Gamboa pier.
