The Chagres River is the principal effluent of the Panama Canal watershed. The Emberá Indians, inside the Chagres National Park inhabit this jungle area. Leaving Panama City at 7:30 am, we will cruise by "piragua" (a native boat) the route used by these Indians for their daily transport along the Chagres River. Then we will enjoy a forest hike to an original town of this tribe and share with them their dances, rituals, food, and other cultural aspects. If you want, you can paint your body with "jagua", vegetable ink used by this culture. Arrival to Panama City is estimated at 4:00 p.m.
Includes: Terrestrial and reverie transportation in piragua (Indian boat), snacks and soft drinks, lunch, and specialized guide.
